Common platform issues for MentalHappy group leaders, with step-by-step fixes for mobile and web users.

📌 Quick Fixes at a Glance

  • Toggle Group Active → Dashboard → My Groups → Set group to Active.
  • Refresh/Update → Pull down (mobile) or clear cache/incognito (web).
  • Update App/Browser → Always use the latest version.
  • Re-Sync → Log out → Log back in.
  • Test on Another Device → Helps confirm if it’s device-specific.

1. Group Not Showing as Active

Why it happens:

  • The group is in Draft/Paused mode or awaiting approval.
  • Technical glitches or outdated app/browser.

Quick Fixes:

  • Check group status: Dashboard → My Groups → Ensure toggle is Active.
  • Verify approval: New groups require approval. Check email.
  • If pending more than 48 hrs → Contact Support.

Refresh or update:

  • Mobile: Pull down to refresh.
  • Web: Clear cache or use incognito mode.

Re-publish: Edit settings → Save → Toggle Active.

2. Session Scheduling Issues

Common problems:

  • Scheduled sessions not showing for members.
  • "Start Session" button missing.

Solutions:

  • Confirm timing: Sessions appear 10–15 mins before start.
  • Check visibility: Ensure session is set to Visible.

Platform-specific fixes:

  • Mobile: Force-close → Reopen.
  • Web: Disable ad blockers/extensions.
  • Test another device to see if the issue is local.

3. Member Approval & Access

  • Refresh (pull down on mobile / reload on web) if requests aren’t showing.
  • Check filters (ensure "Approved Only" isn’t hiding pending).
  • Log out → Log back in.
  • If approved members can’t access: confirm they’re using the same email as approval, clear cache, or reinstall the app.

  • Mobile: Update app (iOS/Android) → Clear cache → Restart device → Reinstall.
  • Web: Use Chrome/Firefox → Clear cookies → Disable pop-up blockers.
