🔹 How to Make Changes to Group Details

Step-by-step instructions for updating your group name, description, bio, meetings, and guidelines.

1. Changing Group Name

  1. Log into your MentalHappy account.
  2. Go to the Support Groups section on your dashboard.
  3. Select the group you want to edit.
  4. Click the Edit Group button.
  5. In the Group Name field, type your new name.
  6. Click Save Changes to update.

2. Edit Group Description Details

  1. From the Edit Group page, scroll to the Group Description section.
  2. Update your description text as needed.
  3. Ensure it reflects your group’s purpose and guidelines clearly.
  4. Click Save Changes.

3. Update Group Leader Bio

  1. Navigate to your Leader Profile in the group settings.
  2. Click Edit Bio.
  3. Add or update details about your background, experience, and expertise.
  4. Click Save to confirm.

4. Change Group Meeting Date and Times

  1. Open the group and go to the Meetings/Events tab.
  2. Select the meeting you want to update.
  3. Click Edit Meeting.
  4. Adjust the date, time, or recurrence settings.
  5. Click Save to update.

5. Update Your Group Guidelines

  1. Within Edit Group settings, scroll to the Group Guidelines section.
  2. Add or modify rules so members clearly understand expectations.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Tip: After saving, revisit your group page to confirm updates are visible to members.
