💰 Refunds for Group Participants

Understand when and how refunds are provided if your MentalHappy group is paused, canceled, or deleted.

When You’ll Receive a Refund

  • Group deleted before the first session → Full refund.
  • Group paused or canceled before any sessions → Full refund.
  • Group ends mid-series → Prorated refund for sessions that didn’t occur.
  • Drop-in/per-session model → Any prepaid session that is canceled will be refunded.

When Refunds Are Not Provided

  • If you leave the group voluntarily.
  • If you miss a session by choice.
  • If your group is paused but resumes within 30 days (your spot remains valid).

How Refunds Work

  • Refunds are issued by the Group Leader when they pause or delete the group.
  • Refunds are automatically returned to your original payment method.
  • You’ll receive a notification with:
    • The refund amount
    • How the refund was processed
    • When to expect it (usually 5–10 business days)

If There’s a Problem

If you believe your refund is missing or incorrect, contact MentalHappy Support through the link in your refund notification. Our team can step in if the issue can’t be resolved with the Group Leader.

💡 Tip: Keep an eye on your email or in-app notifications whenever a group is paused or deleted. Refund details will always be shared with you directly.
