  • No recording or screenshots – remind members at session start.
  • HIPAA-level security – all data encrypted; Stripe handles payment info securely.
  • Always host inside MentalHappy – keeps content secure and private.

3. Moderation Tools

  • Monitor and delete inappropriate content immediately.
  • Remove or block members for repeated violations.
  • Automated content flagging alerts you to harmful posts.

4. Templates & Best Practices

Confidentiality Reminders

  • Start each cycle with: “What’s said here stays here.”
  • Pin confidentiality rules in group chat.
  • Share session summaries instead of recordings.

Safety Guidelines

  • Respect rules: one person speaks at a time, no judgment, no hate speech.
  • Encourage “I” statements.
  • Remind group this is not a substitute for therapy or crisis services.
📌 Crisis Disclaimer: MentalHappy groups are not emergency services. If a member is in crisis, share resources like 988 (U.S.) and escalate to MentalHappy Support if needed.

5. Informed & Voluntary Participation

  • Participation is always voluntary – members may pass on any activity.
  • Consent is ongoing – check in regularly with your group.
  • Leaders must model privacy – never share names or stories outside the group.
